A simple, flavourful and freezer friendly meal that provides great postpartum recovery (serves 3-4).

Ingredients:

Instructions: 

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pan over a medium-high heat, breaking it apart with a spoon until fully browned and cooked through (drain any excess atif necessary). 
  2. Once the beef is browned, add the frozen stir-fry vegetables, cook for 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are heated through and tender. 
  3. Add the soy sauce to the pan and stir everything together until evenly coated. Cook for another 1-2 minutes allowing the flavours to meld. 
  4. Allow the stir fry to cool to room temperature before portioning it into freezer safe containers or bags. Label with the date and freeze for up to 3 months. (Tips: serve with whole grains such as brown rice or quinoa)
