Lydia Schorah

Resident Midwife

With 13 years of experience as a midwife in the NHS, Lydia has had the privilege of working across a range of maternity services, from high-risk labour care to supporting home births and continuity of care teams. Lydia’s career has taken her  to Manchester, London, and Birmingham, allowing her to work with families from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of needs.

Lydia is trained in teaching hypnobirthing and pregnancy yoga, and is passionate about antenatal and postnatal education, empowering families to make informed decisions about their birthing and parenting journeys. In addition to her midwifery practice, Lydia teaches antenatal education classes, sharing her knowledge to support families at every stage.

Having become a mum herself two years ago, she now has a deeper understanding of the support families need, particularly during the first year of a baby’s life.
